Electronics Introduction—Pseudo Random Noise Generator

Below the schematic for a pseudo random noise generator is shown. Thomaz Edison and I followed this guideline to produce this circuit on a breadboard, a device that allows for rapid testing of circuits without soldering or permanent elecrical attachments. The circuit was drawn by Joe Paradiso.

On the right is the breadboard that Thomaz and I prepared. I am grateful to him for his guidance as I have very rudimentary knowledge of electronics and circuits. The circuit did not work as expected until we found missing grounds in the schematic: pin 8 of U4 for example.
