Laser Cutter—Caliper case
In this assignment I made a form-fitting case for vernier calipers. To make the outline cut in the laser cutter, I scanned the calipers and used the image as an underlay in Autocad. Then I made a drawing around the profile, and scaled it up by about 7%, also making modifications to how the tool would be held in the case and making a place for an extra battery.
The case is made from chipboard currently though I plan to make it in Plexiglas.
