Machined and assemble stainless steel and aluminum structural components for architecturally-oriented engineering firm. Required use of lathe, milling machine, and CNC operation and programming. Repair and maintain shop equipment, design and execute shop improvements. Crate and ship orders.

Art Installer and Handler, Self-employed, Philadelphia. 1996–98. Work with artists and curators to lay out and install exhibitions in all media (primarily at The Galleries at Moore). Assist artist Richard Torchia to construct and install works in Philadelphia and New York City.

Carpenter, Self-employed, Philadelphia. 1996–98. Design and construct wood furniture according to specific parameters and deadlines, in my shop or on-site.

Computer Consultant, Self-employed, Philadelphia. 1996–98. Maintain and repair computer systems for individual clients. Design all stages of a computerized artist slide registry containing statements and images by over 1500 Philadelphia-area artists for publication on the Internet's World Wide Web.

Curatorial and Administrative Assistant, The Galleries At Moore, Philadelphia (June 1994-June 1996). Assist with all aspects of exhibition planning and execution. Maintain financial records and create budgets, write grants and help fundraise, assist with future exhibition designs and catalog publications, help install shows, and maintain the physical plant.

TRAVEL
I have traveled in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand, backpacked in Montana and California, bicycled through France, hiked the Inca Trail from Cuzco to Machu Picchu (Peru), and camped in the high Himalaya mountains of Nepal. All trips were self-guided.
